Who Modern Accent suits
Modern Accent suits software, product and marketing roles where the reader expects a clean, contemporary page. The navy headings give the eye a clear path from one section to the next without any decoration that a scanner could misread.
Layout and typography
Modern Accent sets the page in Arial with a left-aligned name with contact details beneath it and balanced spacing that fits a typical two-page history comfortably. The sections run summary, experience, education, skills; you can reorder them in the editor before downloading.
The name sits left, with contact details on one line beneath it, so the top of the page reads like a letterhead. Keep the summary to three lines and let the experience section carry the detail: the accent color does the separating, so you do not need bold text inside bullets.
Is Modern Accent ATS-friendly?
Yes. Like every HappiResume template it is a single column of real text with standard section headings, no tables, text boxes, columns or images, and a common font, so an applicant tracking system reads it in order and finds every keyword. The download is an editable Word file (.docx), the format most application forms ask for.
