Traditional resume template
A timeless serif layout with a centered name and classic section rules. Single-column formatting, standard headings and selectable text keep it ATS-friendly and easy to read. Free to download as an editable Word file.
Fictional sample: Alex Morgan, Senior Software Engineer. The download is editable in Word. No signup required.
Who Traditional suits
Traditional suits any role where you want the safest possible page: a centered name, classic section rules and a familiar order. It is the design to pick when a posting asks for a plain resume or when the resume will be printed and handed over.
Layout and typography
Traditional sets the page in Times New Roman with a centered name and contact line and balanced spacing that fits a typical two-page history comfortably. The sections run summary, skills, experience, education; you can reorder them in the editor before downloading.
Skills sit before experience, which helps a career changer or a recent graduate lead with what they can do. Everything else follows convention, so the content gets the attention: tailor the summary and the first role to the job description.
Is Traditional ATS-friendly?
Yes. Like every HappiResume template it is a single column of real text with standard section headings, no tables, text boxes, columns or images, and a common font, so an applicant tracking system reads it in order and finds every keyword. The download is an editable Word file (.docx), the format most application forms ask for.
